Before the holy month of Ramadan starts, Dipshikha distributed 100 food baskets to our 100 poor Muslim families of the PEER project at Pirganj and Ranisankail upazila in Thakurgaon District on 25th February 2025. A rich family from Dhaka contributed to the budget of this food support.
Each food basket contains 10 items along with rice (25 Kg), Pulse (2 Kg), Soyabean Oil (2 Ltr), chickpeas (1 Kg), Sugar (1 Kg),
Salt (1 Kg), Dates (500 Gm), Muri (1 Kg), Potato (5 Kg) and Onion (2 Kg). 50 Muslim families from Pirganj and 50 from Ranisankail received the food support.
At Pirganj food distribution program Mr. Rafikul Islam, Upazilla Social Welfare Officer, was present as the Chief Guest along with the Imam of the area mosque, Moulana Md. Nazmul Islam. And at Ranisankail, the Chief Guest of the food distribution program was Upazilla Polli Unnayan Officer Mr. Nihar Ranjan Roy as representative of Upazilla Nirbahi Officer. The honorable Executive Director Mr. Jagadish Chandra Roy and the area manager of Pirganj Mr. Sepal Chandra Debsharma Chaired and conducted both programs.
All the 100 families were so happy to get this food support and gave thanks to Dipshikha from their heart.
