Project Introduction/Purpose
The Dipshikha SAFE project implemented in Ranisankail Upazila of Thakurgaon district, the northwest part of Bangladesh. It is fully a new area with new beneficiary families. It shows in the poverty map of the country that 49% – 60% people are living in poor condition. There are different faith community people (Muslim, Hindu and Adivasi) are living in the area. Dipshikha works with all levels of people. Dipshikha aiming to be united and capacitated the rural women and farmers to claiming their equal rights in the society and avail opportunities provided by govt., NGOs, etc.

| 03 | 3. Overall life situation of the people with disabilities improved. | 1. Provide therapy services CwDs and YwDs (Children and Youths with Disabilities) through community-based centers at village level. 2. Provide Assistive Device (AD) support to Children with disabilities (CwDs) and Youngster with disability (YwDs) as per their requirement. 3. | 04 | 4. Production of the target farm families increased through enhancing diversified crops cultivation. | 1. Provide Capital/Asset support for income generating activities. 2. Farm families practiced adoptable appropriate agricultural technologies and become surplus on the basis of food production. 3. Establish Demonstration Plots on different Crops, Vegetables and Spices in the beneficiary farmer families’ field for dissemination of appropriate and new technology. 4. Distribute quality agricultural Inputs to increase income through increase production and crop diversification. 5. Establish small scale Dairy and Poultry Farm. 6. Prepare Posters and Leaflets on adaptable/appropriate agriculture for mass people awareness. 7. Distribute saplings students. 8. Participate Tree Fairs at Upazila level organized by Govt. Agricultural Department. |
