A free eye treatment and cataract identification camp was organized by GUK Eye Hospital at Dipshikha, Radhapur, Biral, Dinajpur on 26 January 2026 (Monday).
The camp started at 9:00 AM and continued until 2:00 PM. During the program, experienced eye specialists provided comprehensive eye examinations, consultations, and necessary medical advice to the patients.
Summary of Services Provided:
- Total number of patients received eye treatment: 192
- Total patients identified for cataract surgery: 53
- Number of patients taken to Dinajpur GUK Eye Hospital for completely free cataract surgery (including lens): 34
All selected patients were transported to GUK Eye Hospital, Dinajpur for cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation, completely free of cost. The initiative aimed to ensure accessible and quality eye care services for underprivileged and rural communities.
The camp was successfully implemented with the cooperation of Dipshikha and the dedicated medical team of GUK Eye Hospital.
